I just purchased a V1 detector. What laser jammer would be a good combo with the V1. I live in NJ and drive a 2009 Black Jeep SRT

i replied to you other post but LI
LI.. have it on both my srts
Besides GOL tests I am interested in to why you say LI is the better choice?
I mean I like the fact that LI is better but the patent issue should be of some concern as to whether they will be around to support their products.
LI because it consistently performs better in tests. Laser Diodes are a better underlying technology. Also Cliff of LI-USA has consistently provided A+ service. LIs also have very good resale values.
The price difference is also not huge if you do your research.
Regarding sustainability of LI, these things take time, and a jammer is not something you keep for more than 3 years as new better devices come out.

Also LI does a nice job with V1 integration and can add voice alerts to a V1.
When I first saw the LI come out a couple of years ago I really wanted it. I saw it as a winner all the way around my big fear is the ligation that they have in front of them.
It doesn't worry me. If I were to use some analogies - the Apple-Psystar dispute has been going on for almost 2 years, 2 courts have rules in Apple's favour, and Psystar is still selling its Hackintosh's. The Blackberry patent lawsuit went on for several years before reaching a settlement.
In this case the suit just began. I don't know anything about it and have no idea of the merits of either side. However it is fair to say it is likely to be much more complicated than the Apple suit which was totally black and white. This is not a hobby for either side, so they should fight this tooth and nail. I can't imagine this being resolved within the next 3 years. Plus even if it is settled in favor of the plaintiffs, I can't imagine spare parts supply being disrupted given the size of the installed base.
Note this post is in compliance with all 4 of RR's policies on posts on this topic.

Since the birth of Li , I have seen continuous steady improovement.
No product is perfect , I received a set with one sensor defective ,
the rep Cliff was there to listen , act , fix this shortcoming.
Since then ...life is good.

Not that we've blatantly violated this rule, but I just want to be sure everyone is aware of it before this discussion continues.
