Default Looks like a possibility... 1 million CP IR spotlight

    NightVisionExperts.com - 1-Million Candlepower Infrared Spotlight

Slightly off at 850 nm, but it says its greater than 850 nm, and at that kind of power it should brute force jam any LIDAR device.

If 1 million CP doesn't give you a sense of security... try 2 million! http://www.nightvisionexperts.com/IRspot2MCP.html

Here are some 940 nm spot lights:

I'm thinking of buying one of the above, and seeing if it makes a difference the next time some of guys in this area get together for testing.

These are the type of devices that would go well on a 4x4 pickup truck on a light bar. No cop would suspect them.

    Don't you have a truck?
    Can you say "test mule"?

Yeah, I have 2 trucks. The one loaded with countermeasures... well, it definitely won't work on it, the look would be all wrong. Even though its not a Ford Lightning the concept would be similar. Just imagine a Lightning with a light bar.... it would be like serving pork BBQ at a Bar Mitzvah. I'd be willing to test it on that truck with a temporary mount, but ultimately it would have to go on the lifted F250 though honestly I rarely speed when driving it. Unless I could find a way to replace my fogs with these, then it could definitely go on my "nice" truck.

The first couple ones you posted used halogen bulbs, it seems. I'd be worried about the IR filter becoming extremely hot after extended use.

I remember seeing one a while ago that specifically warned against use of more than 10 mins because of how hot the filter got.
