Yes, but wont it be better higher? I could be way off base here but i got some pretty steep hills, and though the CI is 100% more sensitive if its blocked by a hill it wont do me much good.
But if im comparing the grill to the bottom cut outs i guess it won’t make much difference. I’m just obsessing again.

A foot higher or lower won't make a bit of difference. Straight, level and with a clear look at the road is all you need to worry about. The 9500ci mounted low will see over hills way better than a high mounted 9500ix. This thing is a total beast. You'll see.

At some point i may switch to a blinder/LI, but as of now 90% of the time its TrueSpeed at over 1000ft which the ZR4's do pretty well with.

Any notes, suggestions are appreciated.

g I just got shot with a Lz-1 last sunday from an unmarked charger on I-95 in Connecticut. Also with a lz-1 on 395 in Connecticut 2 months ago. Both were 1200 feet or less(shot me soon as I crested the hill). Hope your luck lasts and you keep getting hit by the truespeeds.

I have a center grill height mounted ci radar antenna and I simultaneously run a windshield high mounted V1. Over the hill reaction time is very very close.

Ill definitely will try it if it wont fit in the grill. Cant wait to see this in action, and it looks like the USB updates will be available by the end of this quarter for the voice updates. No "multiple signals detected" though. But it does tell you if a laser alert is from the rear or front.

I mainly drive the Fairfield 84 to 91 area and to VT where for some reason TrueSpeed is used allot. Thanks for the heads up on 95 ill keep an eye out for the Lz-1.

But ether way the ZR4's are just for fun, i figure because i have had so many lucky saves where the LEO thought there were bigger fish to fry with my 9500ix, the ZR4's will be at least as good as the 9500ix for alerting to laser.

Good point, i will still be running a RD to the left of my RVM which my 9500's have served me well there with less sensitivity.
