Default To install or not to install...

A friend of mine just gave me his Zr3 shifters and I'm trying to decide if I should put them on my car. I have a black SLK55. I planned on putting something more expensive on the car but am waiting until I move out to CA in a year to buy the latest and greatest as N.FL doesn't use as much laser as other parts of the country.

I have not read good things about the ZR3. I would say no but I do not live in your areas and I am also the one that "upgraded" to the oldest version of Blinder out there. (it is still effective in the areas I drive)

I am not sure the ZR3 is effective.

Really? Tell that to my son in Tallahassee who would beg to differ...

or his Dad who pays those insurance premiums....wait...that's me

If you have a lead foot and can do a simple install that won't deface your beautiful car, you'd be foolish not to take advantage of it.

I'll rephrase... unless you're blasting down I-10 there isn't much laser use. lol.

I've done the Tally to Jax drive quite a few times and the laser is everywhere.

I don't think I'm going to install them. I'll just wait for my LI's.

The ZR3's and 4's always seem to do better in real life than in testing.

You have a black car so that helps a lot just to begin with.

x2! I love how people would tell him to wait until he can get a better jammer. Some protection is always always better than nothing

    X2 speed-dreams.

Though the ZR4 & ZR3's aren't the best for jamming they will certainly add to laser defense. Atleast with the ZR4's on your car 335kid you will be alerted of laser shots at your car. Plus the small chance of picking up scatter and being alerted.

Don't expect it to save you, and it will do a good job.
