They use anything to catch your arse speeding buddy. There is no rule that they cannot use laser/lidar in the winter time.

Haha, I have windows too. I just checked with firefox and it didn't give me an "alert" but my google chrome did.

I guess chrome is a V1 and firefox is a failscort!

My guess is its a banner that is being reported as malware. I've gotten this on a few other sites. Hence the reason Cat4 doesn't see it and you do, the ads change based on what you usually browse, so this is up to the site owner to correct.
