Laser Defender - parking sensor functionality?

I was thinking about getting some aftermarket rear parking sensors. Since its a feature of the LD I may just get an extra head and put it in the rear. At this point I'm looking for any information on the parking sensor function.

Most aftermarket products have 4 heads (not sure if they are all sensors). Is the LD as good as the 4 headed ones? What is the parking alert operation like? Only at close range, or will it also go off in stop and go traffic?

Wow parking sensor isn't its really intended purpose. The 4 head parking sensors i would believe to be better simply cause 2 heads in the front will cover the corners...like if you were to parrel park i would assume a 4 sensor unit would be better cause the corner of your car would be covered

Of course I'm not hanging out in this forum only for the parking sensor chat. Its just a side benifit, one which I'm interested in. At this point I'm attempting to determine if its worth it to get a stand alone parking sensor now, then add a jammer later. Or wait for the LD to be released and kill 2 birds with one stone. If the parking sensors on the LD suck then I'll the stand alone route.

yeah you will find ALL laser diode jammers will have the parking sensor...a good thing i reckon!! In the diagram above the range and distance of the sensors will depend on the lens and firing pattern of the jammer.

I have factory reversing sensors on the rear of my car and I swear it is awsome....i can back into a space and stop a good distance from a wall or another car..well worth it indeed.

Unless you try and tow a trailer, I remember Ford had a problem with that a while ago

Mine is a factory one so it only works when you select reverse and i wont need them with a trailer anyway

Must have very good trailer performance with the LS1 under the hood, you have the three pedal version of course right?

I have the top of the range model...only avail in the 2 pedal vers (auto)

With 400+ HP im not complaining
