Do you have rear Jammer Heads?

Before i put on rear heads i had been lasered from the rear 0 times.Just decided to be safe than sorry...Also been on the the road doing a lot of miles.

Once you get out and start really watching laser traps, it's scary to realise that almost ALL of them are occasionally doing rear shots. We noticed this the very first time we met up with Fritter. They'll spin around and hit someone from behind on a whim if they saw them too late from the front, or were busy with another target when they passed.

Of course, there are plenty of officers shooting all their shots from the rear too, from on-ramps or overpasses, but I think most rear shots are spur of the moment things. One thing is for sure, if they had trouble getting you from the front because of your jammer, your chances of a rear hit go up astronomically!

This makes a lot of sense.A friend of mine got lasered from the rear cause he thinks they missed him from the front and perhaps were busy at the laser trap with others.He did not have rear jammers nd his V1 never went off.
You are so right ...they are starting to use that rear laser more and more....perhaps...just perhaps realizing that most people just have them in front.

I have 2 rear sensors in the garage. I'm with you, better safe than sorry. I just have to find some time to figure out the best install route.

I originally bought my jammer with only front heads. After reading more about the need for rear heads on here, I then added two heads on the rear.

I also think I may have experienced a rear shot from an offramp while passing through Atlanta. My RD and (then) front jammers never went off. A cop then lit up me and the car in front of me, and we both pulled over. The cop proceeded to the car in front of me. One of my passengers then told me that she saw the cop give me a thumbs up and some other signal with his arm (that she thought meant go ahead).

I never actually saw the jesture that the cop had made, but he made another jesture as I drove by (thinking I was all clear). I have no idea what that jesture meant. Was it an "all clear"? Was it "Get back on the shoulder"? Did i misunderstand it and he just didn't feel like going after me? I will never know for sure.

When I get back to FL, I ordered my rear heads immediately.

I have also noticed during testing that Lidar does not penetrate tinted windows well enough to cause the RD to alert. I only get rear alerts when I'm far enough away that it's bouncing off of things in front of me. One more reason to have some heads in the back.

When I do buy jammers again I'm getting front and rear.

I have been shot in the rear a few times and one was 20 over in a construction zone... Luckily someone else was flying by so he went after him...

I understand that LEO's are targeting the outside rear view mirrors when shooting from behind. I wonder if the new Laser Tamer will be able to protect this area?

I only have front heads and have been lasered from the front 0 times since. So at present I'm not in any huge rush to add rear heads.

If I start seeing or hearing of rear laser being used around here, I'll definitely be looking into them though.

Currently, only fronts. They're Lidatek LE-30 heads. I'm planning on upgrading to a dual head LI for the front and moving the LE-30s to the rear. I know the LE-30 is not as effective as the LI but honestly, I've never been hit from behind with lidar. Every time the V1 has alerted to rear laser it has been from enforcement for the oncoming lane. I don't think I've ever seen it used to target the rear of the vehicles in Maryland. But, of course, in the future I'll probably replace the LE-30s in the rear with two LI heads.
