    Default Really easy question

With both front and rear protection, (LI Quad, Blinder M47) do the units tell you that you are being shot from front or rear? I'm thinking, a front shot means brakes are OK, rear shot, use downshift and minor pressure on parking brake handle. Then, kill switch.

ZR3&4 tells you the direction but then you spend over $400 on just a laser detector I suppose

That's the problem here with the LEO's hiding in the bushes, behind guardrails, overpass support piers and the like. Specifically at night it's a real problem when you want to brake and as you say you don't want to brake if you are getting shot from the rear. Although they are legal here I still don't want to draw attention but sometimes they wind up gettting JTG/JFG if I can't spot them. In a vette you also have to be very carerful breaking and lowering the nose of the car, this could set me up for problems.

Seems like this could be an easy add-on. Whatever sensor fires, if you map it to rear or front - maybe a light on a display (like V1 arrows).
Anyway, looks like we have to wait for that feature, or DIY one.

    Really good idea though.

I started out using the emergency brake but it just doesn't slow my car fast enough. I'd bite if someone came up with a system but it would have to be audible because one only has a split second to react. We don't have long stretches of straight road here which sets up a whole new set of problems.
