My ZR3 is installed!
Alright yall i got my Zr3 today around 1pm. i started installing em around 9:30 and i just got done at 11:45. it was pretty simple to do. i put both front heads where my fog lights are and then i put the rear head in my grill. i didnt cut any of the grill out, i just stretched it out a little and slid it in. heres a pic of where they are-
now hopefully ill run into some traps so i can try em out
looks like a good setup
i have never dealt with jammers but i am worried about those headlights, its a bigger target then your fog lights
but i guess if you veiled them it wouldnt be too bad
yeah i had to take off the Veil cuz it was really starting to chip but im going to prob redo em today or tomo.
I would of put the front transponders in the gril next to the headlights and plate hook up lower in the center
i was going to but the rear head is only bout 1-2" deep. vs the 3-4" deep of the front heads. the rear head sticks out appx 1/2" off the grill. whereas if i had the front ones up there, theyd stick out about 3". the grill has a very intracate design behind it and its tought to knock the sucff out. plus there are about 8 bars that go verticle behind it that are steel. so those are very hard to knock out and would have to be taken out in order to put the front head in there.
heres where i put the control.
even though i dont need it cuz im running it by my x50, i still wanted it lol. i was going to put it in the ashtray which is in the dash, i though it wouldve look awesome but it was 1mm too long. so i put it where everyone puts the V1 remote display
