Switch to LI almost complete

I ordered another LI package today. This one is for the wife's car. As soon as I get it installed, I will revise the signature/descriptions at the end of this posting. I'll figure out what to do with the two ZR4 systems later.

side note: The 70 red light cameras here in Houston were switched off at 10 AM today, never to return. Good move! Thanks to all the smart people in Houston who voted intelligently in the recent election. Be careful though. There are still plenty of cameras in nearby towns.

Nice. Jerry, we are actually about to have another jammer meet in December so we can get your wife's LI setup tested as well.

Important Addendum: Houston may be unique is some ways vs. most other cities. Houston has the authority, granted by the Texas constitution, to annex any city it wishes as it continues to grow. This does not include any township that existed prior to the granting of this right in the constitution around a hundred years or so ago. Consequently, there are a fair number of very tiny towns that are embedded within Houston. These towns are not bound by any vote that affects only Houston. They may install and keep traffic light cameras if they so desire. Additionally, there are many other towns on the outskirts of Houston that have fully functional cameras and will probably continue to operatate them for some time to come.

The point is, continue to exercise extreme caution as you drive around the area. Do not disregard your 9500ix or whatever you happen to have when it warns you of a nearby camera.

What I hate about Houston is that, unless you are downtown, you never really know if you're in the city or not. Very few city limits signs, and like you said, there are all these land-locked towns embedded within. Only place I've ever been where you can be in a major high-rise district and be in the unincorporated county, and not the city limits.
