I personally wouldn't trust it myself however it would be interesting to see it tested. Haven't seen any recent tests of these jammers from the far east, so I'd be curious if they've made any progress, especailly given how cheap it is. Literally less than a 1/3 of a Blinder is quite a cost difference. If I still had my LeBaron I'd probably have gotten it and put it on there and tried to find someone to test it, however I don't so the point is moot. Too much work to wire it alongside my Blinders in the Grand Marquis just to test. At least in the LeBaron it would have been a moot point if it worked because the car vibrated badly if you tried to go much above the speed limit. English in the manual was better than the ebay listing but didn't tell a whole heck of a lot else, just have to go by the pictures it had and it looks like a Blinder clone but with a volume control and kill switch on the control box. Still at least the guy was nice enough to send me a pdf of the manual, gotta give them that.

I have to agree it is probably a POS but the GOL should test itout to see if there have been advancements

Well he's got another up at $110. Kinda would be interesting to see GOL test this. I'd buy it for testing if someone is up in the Buffalo area with a Laser gun.

Ordered one, guess I'm too curious. If anyone wants to test it I can install it on my 97 Grand Marquis or F150 on the GM I can do it with a separate kill switch as I've got a Blinder on there as of now. The F150 has no jammer. Anyway if there is anyone in the Buffalo area doing some testing I'm more than happy to bring it along. I'd guess it won't be here until next week given that it has to go through customs.

F150 has virtually nothing reflective up front other than headlights and plate.

GM has the grill, plate and headlights. More reflective surface. I could probably install it on one and then the other if anyone is really curious and has the guns to test it with on both vehicles. I can do it so it is separate from the Blinder and can be tested independently.

Even ordering another at $110 to get a second set of heads is not even to the cost of the M27 and barely more than the Laser Mask. Anyway I'm more than welcome to testing this thing so if you're in Buffalo and want to do testing let me know.

I'm assuming LED though the manual says nothing, pictures of the transponder heads in the manual are too small to take a guess. The seller isn't too good with English and it probably would be here before he gets back to me. I'll let you know more when it arrives. I'm going to guess it is a Blinder clone. I don't know if even a Taiwanese sourced unit using Diodes could be made cheap enough to make a profit at $110, however anything is possible if they're using Chinese parts. It does look from the pictures that the brackets would be fairly easy to install with mounting tape, so I could probably mount this on my F150's grill in a half an hour if anyone is around Buffalo with a Laser gun wanting to test it. Anyway it was at the JFK airport as of 4PM yesterday, the Taiwan Post tracking thing is a bit slow to update so I'm going to guess it is going customs by now and probably will be here sometime early next week. I'll post some pics and more details when it arrives.

Yea no one's holding their breath but it's certainly worth a try. Honestly it's good that jammers are expensive. Imagine if they were cheap, and performed like the LI. There would be tons of people using them and newbs JTGing and then cops will get angry and we all know what can happen from there.

Pretty obvious that if people started to JTG they'd end up banned like Radar Jammers. I don't mind spending a couple of bucks on one if it is even semi effective, making a 4 head version would cost all of $220. Installing on my GM is kinda pointless with the Blinder aside from testing purposes but I never invested in a jammer for the F150 as I don't have it up on the highway all that often and could never justify the cost. However if it was remotely effective on a non reflective car at $110 it would be a good buy. I'll put it on the F150 and drive around (though it is not a cop magnet), and if anyone wants to test it I'm more than welcome to doing so just drop me a line and I'll work something out.

The CT-12 has arrived. LED based. Epoxy filled heads but the front lens is mounted more like the old M-06HP. Time will tell if it develops problems or not as they also have it sealed with some sort of clear rubberized substance. Head is slightly narrower than the M20/25/27 and about the same width. Wire enters the head in the center. Heads have ridges on one side that indicates that that side goes on top (so mounting them upside down is not an issue). Comes with mounting tape, mounting brackets, level, wire ties, etc. I used my own 3M mounting tape to do the install on the F150. CPU box has power switch and Hi/Low switch which makes the tone higher or lower (in volume and tone). You could easily hard wire this if you wanted by lopping off the end of the cigarette lighter plug.

Installation is relatively simple as the CPU box is also the buzzer and power indicator. I was able to do it in slightly under an hour. The biggest drawback with installation is the wire for the transponder heads is especailly stiff when it is cold (and perhaps slightly thicker than that of the Blinder). I used the cigarette lighter plug for the time being as opposed to attempting to hard wire it. The other major problem is you have to mount the CPU box in a location accessible to the driver as it has the power switch (unless you make a seperate kill switch). It also can't be hidden too much or you can't hear the test tone. It is small so the inflexible wires of the transponder heads make it difficult to mount. I ended up going center of console under the radio, easy to reach and easy to hear. The volume is also not particularly loud. If you're listening to loud music this could pose a problem.

Anyway there haven't been many laser traps in the winter around here, only on sunny days on the Thruway and I've been letting my wife drive this one to work as it has snow tires so if anyone wants to test it give me a heads up first.
