My LJ elevation adjustment thing...

I was having trouble making sure my heads were level, square, etc because of the geometry of my car. All angles, nothing square...

Anyway, I decided that the only way to get them right was to mount them to something solid and straight.

The heads are mounted to bar A which can pivot around screws driven into bushings in the ends. The short piece of tubing coming off at 90 deg. has a captured nut in the end and screw C raises/lowers the arm which rotates the bar and adjusts the angle of the heads.

Screw C has 2 jamb nuts under bar B which allows adjustment.

Maybe overkill but that's what I came up with...

I actually just did the very unscientific bend check, bend check, bend check etc. I wish I had the patience to put something like this together. Maybe if I like your stock CTS grill enough I will do the same.

Sure did and with a smaller jack shaft pulley. Pushing 8 psi at this point but still haven't made it to the dyno.

The first is the "end pivot" and the 2nd is the adjustment deal. I had to use spacers on the al. part to clear the hood latch.

I'm going with a similar setup for the FLIR...

It needs some sort of self-leveling servo to keep the heads and cam. level at all times.

TITS! I can't wait to see the whole car with grill installed. If it looks good, which I think it will, I will be going this route. While I don't mind the way mine looks at all it certainly attracts way to much attention as is.
