Exclamation Looking to Purchase Lidar Gun

Looking to purchase either an Ultralyte 20/20, or a PL III in very good cosmetic and operating condition from a reputable source. KM/H measuring preferable, but not a necessity.

I've rented in the past, however feel it would be a good idea to have one on hand for regular testing, as guns are scarce here.

Any info appreciated. Please PM specifics.

The UL 20/20 is a pretty outdated gun - there are some PLIII's on ebay

I would disagree that the gun is outdated as it is still is use daily throughout the US, Canada and elsewhere.

If your just want one to test for laser detection, I have found that the Simmons LRF 600 laser range finder will consistantly trigger a LASER warning with my escort x50 when I hit part of the hood or the wind screen. It has a magnified optic and targeting reticle similar to a LIDAR gun, They cost about $100.

I was thinking of this model of the LTI 20-20 - LTI 20/20 - Guys of LIDAR - not sure if that's what the OP was referencing.

Ah.. I see. LTI seems to like to refer to all of their guns as "20/20".. including their newish TruSpeed units and still current LR B, etc.

I believe the Ultralyte LR B is harder to jam than a PL 3.

That may trigger a laser alert but it's best to use a lidar gun to make sure your set up is properly installed
