Jammer tester that uses a laser diode

Hi all...

Thanx to Vonkie, we have something to work on... check the schematic below...





What i want to do is replace the IR Leds with a single Pulsed 904nm laser diode. But going about doing this... i require input from technically inclined members. I have no experience with laser diodes, so any assistance will be highly appreciated.

I was told that i would require a driver of some sort... not sure what exactly it does and not sure where in the schematic it would be placed.

With all the jammer "look up tables" etc................if you made one, would it "test" or set off a jammer?

Only if it mimics the pulse rate of an actual laser gun. The one Roy sells works for certain on Blinder, Lidatek, and ZR3, as it mimics a Kustom Prolaser III.

The unit I sold you should mimic an LTI ultralyte at 140 PPS. That is what I was told anyway.

I did place it in front of the LTI Marksman Rx lense to see if a jamming code came up, while shooting a target.............it didn't.

A Local supplier can source the OSRAM SPL PL90 diodes.....

The other option is purchasing the PLD904-2-T, 904 nm from the link below

The problem with the OSRAM diode is that it is a 25W diode.... I doubt the circuit will be able to drive it.... what to do?

Vonkie: Can you source 3W pulsed laser diodes locally?

What price for the SPL's???
Laser diodes seem to be a problem locally.

Does anyone know how to drive a 25W Pulsed Laser diode... i simple cost effective method.....
