    Default Few quick AL6.5 questions

    Hey every1,
I have a few questions about the Antilaser 6.5:

How many heads can be installed?
How many heads come with the unit?
    How much are extra heads?

I have a 06 M3 that desperately needs a laser jammer to complement the hardwired V1. Thinking about putting the jammer heads right behind the twin kidney grills in the hood, equal distance from the headlights and the non-existant front plate.

Also, if i end up putting my front plate back on due to IL law, whats the best laser-jamming clear cover i can put on it?

    Thanks,
    -Zach

One head in front should give your M3 good protection.

i know for the escort zr3 shifter you can get a splitter at radioshack.....im sure it will work on the Laser pp also......for an M3 one front one back should be enough.

I was wondering about a splitter. If both recievers get a signal and send it through the splitter will it confuse the processor?

That is a very interesting question, besides, the brains are in the head unit anyways, the control box is just a power conduit and with the visual indicator/on/off switch. I am interested to see what comes of this!

So far, my understanding is this:

Box mounted on car: laser detector, cpu, and jammer.

"Control" box in passenger cabin: on/off switch to provide power, speaker and LED to warn driver.

When you buy a second jamming head, how does it interface? Do you wire it back to the control box, or does it just daisy chain to the other jamming heads?

2nd head connects to the junction (control) box

What kind of cable connects the jammer to the control box? Is it a RJ-45 cable? Radioshack sells a RJ-45 splitter, so theoretically it would be possible to hook up multiple jammer boxes to a single control box port if all the signals are sent on different wires.
