A 3 head setup like the one Volvorob suggested is probably as good as it's going to get. How much are you getting the ZR3 for? It'd have to be pretty cheap, considering it's a bit outdated.

sonicelectronix.com has the zr3 for $220 .. Does that sound good or bad?? can you guys tell me some other models around the $500 range that would work.. or do you think the zr3 is my best bet?? Also why doesnt the zr3 work for my rear bumper?

sorry I dont know what you mean by this.. what is LI and who is Cliff lol?? sorry i know I sound stupid but i have never had one of these things before.. I want to make sure my car is protected but didnt wanna spend more than $500.. even though im sure the good ones cost alot more..

Is the Blinder a better model than the zr3? what would you guys recommend since i have such a big car?

edit: I jsut found the Blinder M25 X-Treme for 429.99 .. Is the price difference really worth it.. like is the blinder that much better than the zr3??

The blinder M25 is muchbetter then the ZR3, the ZR3 is the older version of the ZR4, and since the Blinder did much better then the ZR4, one can conclude, the Blinder is that much better then the ZR3.


$220 is a decent price, but for something that outdated, I wouldn't want to pay more then 200 (new) personally.



Bottom line here is this: What is the most you are willing to spend... period. In other words what is your budget. Not 'Well sorta this and that" just tells us outright what you want, and we will let you know the best defense against laser that you can buy in your price range.

in that chart green JTG means no speed reading was obtained from any distance anything else will have the distance in feet that speed was obtained

the zr4 was tested ..which should be more effective then the zr3
as you can see the blinder did quite a bit better then the zr4.. you need to go for the best coverage you can afford since your car is kind of big.

the price on the zr3's is good but for that price i think i hear you can get the laser mask which is a better jammer

unless some site has an awesome deal on some other jammer...the blinder is the best under 500...

I wouldn't call the ZR3 useless, members from this website have had success with it in the past, especially against certain guns, but its performance will be severely limited by todays standards of jammers.


For under 500 (IMHO) your best best is the $490 combo from radarbusters.com

if you dont know what veil is basically its a coating you put on your head lights to reduce the lidar profile of your car..giving your jammers an easier area to protect.
