    btw just thought i would update i just looked and the radar detector i have now is the cobra xrs- 9300 .. im pretty sure its an older model.. to me it doesnt seem to preform that good.. maybe i just dont understand what its tellin me..

    Any cobra radar detector made my cobra is not worth it

    Get a better Radar Detector, as CVR pointed out, get a V995 if you're on a budget...

    I drive 100-200 miles a day from Port Charlotte down to Marco island. Here is what you will see...

    County Sheriff; Mostly K-Band, but they have some vehicles that use Ka (34.7 and very few 33.8)

    There are a lot of unmarked vehicles too... There are Mustang GT's, (Charger's in the Cape), lots of SUV's, Ford Super duty trucks -F-350's(?) have shown up too.

    I have seen all Laser guns except the new Truspeed. I have only seen the Laser Atlanta gun once, in the Cape. All others are used quite a bit. (The Stalker is kind of rare too though)

    Look out for the Pro Lite laser (they look like binoculars)... Bike cops like to use them and, for some reason, a guy looking down the road with binoculars, doesn't get my attention like cops who seem to be pointing a gun at traffic.

    Some of the Fish and Game guys run 35.5 Ka. (Yes, they write speeding tickets too.)

    Hwy patrol is almost all 34.7 Ka. Their unmarked cars are kind of easy to spot, (Crown vics, Ford Explorers etc) but they do use some cool-looking Murauders.

    There is some other stuff I can't think of now, but all bands except for X-band are used here.

    (And I did see a rent-a-cop running X-band in a gated community a few weeks back. )

    hi this is my first post, I am located in orlando, near ucf. I recently purchased the zr3 off craigslist for 75$. Seemed like a steal. Btw he had an SRX as well he was asking for 250 for it. Not sure if that one is a good deal. But I went ahead and installed it, here is a picture. Can anyone tell me if these are good locations where I mounted my lenses?

    I think if you could get two of the heads up closer to the headlights it might be better.

    I agree. I would move the two front heads to the upper grill as close to the headlamps as possible and move the rear head up to the top slot in the lower grill. In the current location, if the headlamps are targeted during sub 1000 ft scenarios, he is going to get lit up like a Christmas tree.
