Couple Questions about Veil

Hi,
I just joined this forum and I live in an area where laser is becoming more and more of a problem I just ordered a V1 and I am looking for some protection from Laser.

Here are my questions about Veil...

What is it?
How does it work?
It looks like its a form of paint, will it change the appearance of surface I paint with it?
My truck has chrome bumpers, chrome rims, is it even worth trying?
How much does Veil cost?
