A couple questions on veil

I have almost finished scanning through this forum, but couldnt find the answer to my question.

I dont see people who had used Veil mentioning if they apply it to their rear vehicle - taillight and read license plate.

Do you guys apply it to the rear of your car at all?

That really depends upon where you travel.

LIDAR speed traps most often occur from the front. If you know that LIDAR is used to target speeders, in your area, from the rear, then it would be advisable.

However, we have found that vehicles are more easily targetable from the rear and do not benefit as much from treatment.

Users of rear active jammers, however, will benefit.

We have seen that even active jammers , can not alone cloak a vehicle reliably in the rear. In this case, using VEIL in addition to a rear active jammer will most certainly improve the performance of the laser jammer.

Moving laser is coming - that is operation of laser from a moving vehicle. When this technology becomes available, expect rear targeting to become more common place.

At that time, treating the rear may become necessary.

Pretty much you would only benefit if you had a Rear laser jammer

Yeap, I have read that FAQ on Veil site but still dont understand that theory.

Why is that so? Isnt the same theory of Veil for the front applies to the rear too?

I always see Cops stop at the exit ramp in my area and shoot at cars that pass by here, or Cops just follow you from behind your car and shoot at you.

to get a laser reading on the back of any car is 100times easier than getting the front...So VEIL will be little help in a rear laser attack. But put VEIL on the front of your vehicle and you will be all good

After a rear lidar ticket, I now have an extremely thick coat of Veil on my tail lights, a lightly Veil coated Laser Shield, and a Blinder M20 on the back of my car. I drive a dark firebird so hopefully this will be somewhat effective from the rear. Truthfully, I still think I need two more jamming heads for the Blinder back there or possibly a Lidatek LE30 too. During this encounter my RX65 was completely silent as expected. Although rear encounters are rare, the price of my lawyer that got the ticket thrown out and the hassle in general was worth investing in at least some rear protection.
