New to Veil- Couple Questions

Hi, couple questions:

1. Does Veil cause the brightness of my HID-projector headlights to be diminished?
2. Does it "flake" or anything like that even after some time?
3. Anyone hear of it causing any type of damage?
4. Anyone know if it really works and how well it works?

Do yourself a favor and purchase either a Laser Interceptor, LPP, or AL. I wouldnt put that stuff on my projector headlights.

To answer your questions:

2. Yes - wears off
3. Not really but it looks like crap.
4. It does work a little. But a jammer works better!

I have the Phazer II, but I've been reading everywhere (today) that it doesn't work. And the manufacturer was getting hit w/ a class-action lawsuit and they're losing business. And Radar Roy did a demonstration on how it doesn't really work....

So anyone know if Phazer II really works?

The Phazer II doesn't work as advertised if it even works at all. For a fact it doesn't jam anything. Probably the worst detector ever produced.

Veil can be very effective on small dark cars however it will reduce the effectiveness on your headlights. So much in fact I took it off my car.

It does wear off over time but if you park your car in a garage and take care not to scrub on it, it can last for a couple of years.

Veil works on my car, but I drive a little black Volkswagen with no other shiny stuff on the front, I evn have a black mesh grille without the big chrome VW logo.

What car do you want to use it on?

To properly apply Veil you want to have a very smooth surface so if your headlights are beat up, you should clean them and wetsand if necessary.

This is how Veil looks when you apply it properly. Note how it goes on headlights smoothly but not chrome.

The Phaser II cannot jam anything. It does not prevent radar or laser guns from reading your speed in any way. Humming a low pitched tone loudly at the officer has a better chance of causing a lower readout than using a Phaser.

It also is extremely incompetent as a detector. It will not be able to provide adequate warning on many types of radar encounters. You should invest in a better detector.
