I have a small jet black coupe. I am very reluctant to put anything on my headlights. Has anyone put Veil G4 their recent model year headlights? (Has anyone even gotten any Veil G4?)
If you don't like the effect after you apply it, does it come completely off with no residue and no effect headlight coverings?
I would like to at least put Veil on my license plate but I know this was not recommended for the prior formula. What about the new one? How noticeable is it?
I don't understand why it was Ok to put old Veil formula on headlights, but not license plates. Was it do to a reactions between the Veil (or solvents in it) and paint on the plate (and the lack of any paint on the headlight cover)?
I don't care as much about the cosmetic looks of the plate versus the car (unless the Veil really damages it - I just don't want to get in trouble for having it since any covering (such as the laser shield) is illegal in Massachusetts. (I have a Massachusetts plate.)
Even if the new formula now works on license plates, would it even be worth it just to put it on the plate and not the headlights? I think I read that laser may have a tougher time with auto-level/adaptive HID's but I don't know why that would be so.
I realize for better protection, I also need a jammer, but it is going to be sometime before good tests of the new Cheetah PASS system have been done and the results publicized or before we know if LI's CS is going to improve and if they will stand behind their products.
