It's meant to be somewhat of a teaser, since we've got a good number of videos of test runs already.

My wife voted against including such footage, but a buddy of mine, tonight suggested that I have something along those lines and now since you guys are saying pretty much the same thing, I'll consider re-editing it.

What specifically would you be looking for?

Hyperbolic bullshyte seems to be the norm in the radar countermeasure industry, and it seems to sell a lot of crappy detectors, so maybe try that? You could shoot vid of a car with 10,000 K HID headlights, and tell people that's exactly what their regular halogen headlights will look like with a $90 dollar can of Veil.

But seriously, maybe some kind of illustration showing the Veil effect, like "Laser goes in, but it doesn't come out" or something. People trust things they understand. The "mysterious secret magic potion" image turns potential buyers away, so make sure people have some idea of the theory behind why your product works.

Don't the videos already posted on the Veil Guy Channel already demonstrate Veil G4's performance effectively?

Do you feel that some of that footage should be incorporated into the "long-form" version of the promo video?

BTW, we have a milspec Gen III night vision optical system, perhaps we could demonstrate the appearance in very high-quality of IR before and after... What do you think of this one?

And then a few seconds of video of a nice car (like your Viper or something) that has Veil G4 on the headlights (but no other tinting, like that BMW 5 we saw a few months ago).

I am not much for salesman-type hype as we are engineers at our core.

Perhaps a "long-form" version for individuals not already familiar with G2 is in the offing here incorporating your suggestions.

They do demonstrate performance, but they don't clearly EXPLAIN performance. What I was recommending is not video, but literally an animated graphic illustration of the process by which laser is absorbed. A drawing of headlights, red lines representing laser going into a headlight and bouncing back out to the Lidar gun, to demonstrate the unprotected light. Then a drawing of headlights treated with Veil, and the red lines going in, but not coming back out to reflect to the Lidar gun. That's the kind of crystal-clear visual that quickly makes sense to people, without a lot of discussion or demonstration, and they will remember it.

Of course, hott chicks are always a plus too.
