Just joined this forum, and have learned quite a lot about Veil. Before I order some, I need to know whether I can apply Veil to my just-treated headlamps. I had a "transparent bra" professionally applied to my 2008 Porsche Targa- it's the 8-mils thick clear plastic film from 3M Corp. It goes over the headlights, front spoiler, hood, mirrors, etc. Has anyone tested Veil with the 3M clear film? It's to prevent paint chips caused by small rocks and road grit.
Second, with the car being brand new, I am afraid of getting any Veil on the paint. The video of it being applied shows a guy wiping off excess, runny Veil from the bumper several times; he also states that "alcohol" is the best cleaner. I didn't see whether he was soaking his rag in alcohol or not. Just how potentially damaging is a momentary "application" of Veil to the car's paint? Thanks all, Checkerboard

), for over a day, which I easily wiped away, with high-grade ethanol. No visible damage at all.
