Veil Aplication and painting Emblem Matt Black

I will be applying veil to my front and rear headlights over the next month. I also intend to get a couple of laser shields over each of my license plates - front and back.

My question concern the shiny chrome VW emblem on the front middle of my grill. Should I paint it matt black to prevent reflection for it?

I can also buy a matt black emblemless grill and replace my current one. My preference is just to paint the emblem black.

Any thoughts?

"De-chroming" certainly won't hurt - and as I've discussed with The VEIL Guy before, he believes that just using visible-spectrum only "black" would be more than sufficient.

But remember, it's not just the chrome trim that reflects.
