Picture of LP cover

Here is a picture of my license plate cover that I did this afternoon. Sorry if the image is too big. I forgot to reduce the image size on my camera.



Personally, I think it looks great. It was MUCH easier to coat this cover than the plate itself. I was worried that I would have a running problem due to the curvature of this cover but it was fine. I used a light coat on both front and back.

Are you really suppose dto put that much veil on the plate cover? mine is tad darker, but yours is insanly dark!

I think it looks darker in the picture than it really is. (Taken at an angle because of glare from the lights.) This was about as light a coat as I could get. Did you do one side of the cover or both? When only one side of the cover was painted it was hardly noticeable.

both sides of mine are veiled. I am wonderin how you got it with so few streaks?

I think that the most important thing is not to go over any spot twice. If the Veil has started to set up and you hit it with the brush again you are guaranteed to put streaks in it. I learned that when I tried to coat my plate the first time (and failed miserably). I just used the regular brush that came in the container.
