Default To get Veil or Not to get Veil

So i just installed a Blinder M27 the other day.

I just found out what Veil was.

I have HID head lamps on my car.

    I had some questions:

    1) i would assume it does some diminishing of the light coming out of the head lamp. But by how much?

    2) i keep hearing stories of it cracking, is this true?

    3) Is it hard to remove?

    4) should I get it?

    Car- Mazda 3 hatchback 2008

Try and get the car tested with Just the Jammers then go from there...If Veil was half the Price I'd say get it but it's not worth 90 or 100bucks

+1 have the setup tested. If you get PT then get Veil.

    1. If it noticeably diminishes your light output, you applied WAY too much. It only takes one light coat to do the job, and that is almost completely invisible to the naked eye.

    2. It's true, but extremely rare, and still a mystery as to how or why it happens.

    3. It's almost too easy to remove, actually. Household ammonia seems to do the job well. However, if you have factory HIDs, be aware that the headlight washers generally contain ammonia or other substances that will remove it in routine use.

    4. As stated by others, test your jammer set-up performance first. Veil is always a useful addition to any set-up. And I suspect that your choice of the Blinder will almost certainly necessitate it, because of your limited mounting options and wraparound headlights. But if you have headlight washers, you may be out of luck.
