Cant be shipped to a PO Box?

So I order my Veil and C50 through a online radar website located in SC. They called me back after I placed my order and said that they could not ship Veil to a PO Box? Is this normal. I had it shipped to a NC address (my moms) but I wont see her until thanksgiving Kinda sux... My cheetah and Veil will have to wait...

In regards to the shipping PO Box issue, this is very common, most companies will have a specific shipper set whom they have a contract with that will prevent them from being able to use USPS.

Depends on if they use USPS and if they want signature required, this is standard with internet orders. Personally I use a UPS Store Private Mail Box. There is no sense in paying for a PO BOX when you can only receive US MAIL through it. Personally if you need anonymity for US MAIL *ONLY*, just use General Delivery -- it's FREE.

Just ship it to the College, they usually hold packages for students.

Yea thats what I wanted but it has to be to my "assigned address" at college...that address is a PO Box

You could have tried modifying the address;

College Physical Address, #xxxx
City, ST Zip

I've got away with doing things like this in the past rather easily =P

I've got away with doing things like this in the past rather easily =P

For anyone else who has this issue - if its a legit PO box (like at a post office) and they ship using some other carrier than the USPS, this likely wont work and can get refused costing you some time and perhaps money to have it re-shipped.

However, in just about any other case you can modify the address like this. This is how I get mail at school, and I used to work at a UPS store so people would come in wanting to ship to their kids (now that I think about it the only times I've had to do this are relating to schools/universities) and the packages were always delivered just fine.

When I order things to school I just order them to the school mail office and add my box number on it. Then I go and pick up the package after it is delivered. I don't send it to the address on the PO Box they gave me because the PO Box and the mail office have two different addresses.
