Well today is the day that i am going to apply the veil to my lights. My lights were dull and foggy so I had to refinish them before I could start to apply the veil. Thought i would post the before and after pics of my headlights for the restoration. let me know what you all think

I will be posting the pics of the head lights with veil after i get it applied an it is dry.

It's interesting that a lot of these newer composite headlight materials experience this deterioration over relatively short periods of time.

The main cause, believe it or not, is UV damage.

The good news is that Veil has strong UV absorption in addition to NIR absorption.

In my experience, headlights so treated are protected from this kind of damage.

It's very good, though, that you restored them prior to applying Veil as applying Veil to heavily damaged untreated headlights is not a good idea.

I'll be very interested to see how your application turns out!
