Default Veil Question for a Car that is NOT with a jammer or possibly with a ZR3/M20

Hello! I plan to use Veil on my car with the LI unit I just bought, but I have a question about my car that I don't want to spend LI money on. One of my DDs is a white minivan. I run a current model V1 in it and LIDAR is something I occasionally encounter and not get a V1 scatter. Would just Veil on this be enough to get by in most situations given the slope of it is not ideal for LIDAR guns, it is white, and I have a V1? Obviously it wont be jammer performance level but do you think it would be good in most situations? My buddy suggested seeing if I could get a used ZR3 to use in conjunction for $200 or less and feels with Veil, a V1, and that I should be pretty good. This forum makes me weary of the ZR3 so I figured I would ask any thoughts on this. Maybe a used M20? I'de prefer not to buy another new/high priced jammer given that a few current LIDAR guns seem to be difficult to impossible to jam with today's current jamming market.

    Thanks

I can get instant speed readings on people walking down the street at 1000ft. I have gotten speed readings on flying sea gulls as far as 800ft. Your white minivan will be easy pickings for a laser toting LEO, Veil or no Veil. White is the worst color for defense against laser. Most minivans have large frontal areas which make for easy speed readings. You need a jammer. I'd suggest renting a laser gun so that you can see for yourself just how easy it is to get speed readings on a minivan.

On a side note, from my experience, a windshield mounted radar detector will detect a LEO's laser shot maybe 60-70 percent of the time. The rest of the time, it's dead silence. if you don't know you've been shot, you won't even know to slow down, so any delay in the LEO's speed reading becomes irrelevant.

That's all I needed to know. In that case, maybe installing the LI unit with Veil would be the best route and buying a seocnd one shortly.

Veil plus properly mounted LIs can protect damn near anything.
