Northern Illinois; Lasered in Riverwoods on Lake-Cook rd

Couldnt believe it heard the not so familiar ring on my Passport 50, as I was flyin down Lake Cook rd West bound after getting off the highway. I thought I was dead, but he came after the car next to me(yes I wioll order a jammer and some veil tomorrow :wink: as that was way too close!! ) This is the 1st Northern Illinois suburb I've seen use laser(meaning besides troopers, and counties). :cry: :cry: I circled around just to double check and sure enough it was a "Riverwoods" LEO that had the mark pulled over. I didnt even know that was a town, I thought it was Deerfield right there. Anyways, be carefull over there he weas sittin in the Riverwoods office building parking lot shootin out his open window. Had me dead to rights 30+ I figured. :shock:

Lasered in Arlington Heights today, 6/7/06!! They had it on me for a good 15-20 seconds. My Passport was ringing off the hook!!! You could tell it was amateur hour. I think they just got them today, as a friend of mine called me sayin' he was lasered on Rand rd by an AH LEO. I was on AH RD Southbound incidently. :cry:

Darn, I was just on Lake Cook Road tonight! I took a left on it from Rt 14 though, so I don't know what part you were at. My X50 was in dark mode and I didnt' pick up any laser or anything for that matter on Lake Cook Rd. I wish I would get hit with laser when I'm doing the speed limit so I could see the amount of warning I get (which I've heard is near zero).

Yeah, there was no warning just a loud ring. It's such an unfamiliar alert, I didnt know what the hell it was at 1st. Sounds like a cheap cordless phone ring or something. Anyways, I was on Lake Cook just West of 294 at around Milwaukee Ave.
