ANYBODY HERE FROM ILLINOIS DO YOU HAVE LASER??

I was recently on ebay today and saw on bunch of radar guns ka, k, band from illinois and was wondering since i am heading through there in july out west if they have been migrating to Laser there and if so where And what type of guns are they using?? And if you know of any speed traps in your area id appricate the low down on em. Thanks all!!!

prolaser 3. easiest gun to jam

mainly used by illinois state troopers. beware in construction zones especially.

I drive to Chicago everyday and am seeing more and more laser there. I mostly travel on the Dan Ryan (I-94) but have been hit with it on I-57 as well. Beware, I think it is jammer time for me but am very sceptical since they are illegal in Illinois. Maybe if I can get a really stealthy install I will get a Blinder or a AL. My boss is definetely interested in a jammer because he was just recently ticketed.

All the places I've checked says that they are legal in illinois... is this a new thing?

I thought it was just MN, VA, UT, OK, NB, and CA that banned them.

they are illegal. if you can find a place that shows the law saying otherwise, you will make a lot of the illinois members happy

yeah, about a minute after I read that I looked it up... they are illegal. But, I think I may have found a loophole!

Laser jammers are illegal in the following states: Nebraska, MN, Utah, California, OK, Virgina, Colorado, Ilinois, DC

A jammer is a illegal in Illinois. The have had wolf packs with lidar on Interstate 55 and 72 in the past few weeks alot. Unmarked white car usually sits on top and the marked squads are on the ramp. If you can monitor 42.5 or IREACH 155.055 they usually will communicate with each other there.

I-57 at Tuscola has a neat trap. The laser operator parks his car under the highway overpass and walks up between the lanes. He sits on a small stool behind the guardrail and shoots between the rails. No way to see him till it's too late. His buddies are waiting on the ramp just past the overpass. Usually there on weekends.
