I've said it before I'll say it again, those dudes are crazy!![]()
thats nuts, were they using laser from up there?
Be careful in NYS... the Sheriffs and State Troopers are cracking down on speeders big time.
They are using lidar from ground units in (especially heavy) in work zones (with chaser vehicles so they dont have to leave)... but all along the main routes.
They are also using chase helicopters (especially for motorcycles), and they are also using VASCAR from Airplanes and helicopters...
Basically boys:
Get your jammers out, look to the sky when driving, and above all dont speed they are going wild on everyone these days.
You might want to say it again (see my above post), they are just going profiteering on us in NY.Originally Posted by SmaartAasSaabr

They're certainly not "profiteering" from the use of helicopters, anyway. Light planes like Cessnas or Pipers are very cost-effective for this kind of duty - they're inexpensive to own and operate. On the other hand, your typical Bell JetRanger is ten to twenty times more expensive. You better be writing some HUGE fines to get that thing to pay for itself.
where exactly were you driving? i know there are 5 helo stations all around new york, one in saranac lake, one in syracuse, and 3 others that i can't remember. im sure the helo you saw was being used for other purposes.
Y sont fous :!:those dudes are crazy
