does PA have laser?

my friend, weezer134 on here, is on vacation with his family out on the east coast. he said they were driving through somewhere in PA and said he saw three state troopers in a team with one using laser. he thought the gun was silver (im guessing a PL3) but i was under the impression that PA did not have laser as of now?

It's not mentioned in the List of Bands thread either. Either it's new, or they weren't state troopers. In any case, a silver gun = ProLaser series.

No PA does not have Laser for speed enforcement and it is not an approved speed enforcement device, but that's not to say your friend didn't see the PSP testing out Laser.
LE in PA can't issue anyone a speeding ticket based on a laser reading, but who knows what the future will bring.

The trooper may very well have been holding a Decatur K band gun outside the car. They do run this type of enforcement occasionally.
