[Radar 4 Ever]

I'm going to Lake George tomorrow. Should I be seeing Laser and instant-on? If not what should I expect?

Hey radar - I was just up in Lake George, left Friday and got there Sunday.

What Exit are you getting off of on the Northway???

Expect possible laser, but mostly Constant-on and Instant-on Ka.

Exits 10-15 have pretty heavy patrols with Ka-band so pay attention to any hits you get.

After exit 15 its hit or miss - watch the Rest area with the bathrooms north bound for laser, i've seen them sitting in there...

July 4th - Patrol will probably be heavy.

If you get up to where the Northway becomes two lanes, after exit 22 - watch all the U-Turn spots for NYSP, they hide and use instant-on from those positions, so just slow down for each one.

I'd stay around 75 in the two lane area unless you have a rabbit.

On my way up from NJ, I went 87 all the way I encountered 8 NYSP, 1 Lasering... Your traveling a lot less distance, but be careful

I was Laserd today on my way down. When laserd that means the cop is only shooting at you right? The funny thing is I have my RD mounted HIGH and it still picked up laser from far away. The trooper was sitting on top of a bridge outside of his car shotting laser. I had a great rabbit on the way home! Doing 85mph and the guy ahead of me was doing about 90mph. I was set. He was pretty far ahead so I would of gotten a laser scatter, or scatter of instant on.
