I know narrow Ka "do it better" but never had any problem with Ramer or Multanova detection (exclude E925 and V945). With my old V995 could pick up Ramer from even more than 350m distance. Now have Escort 9500i and hope it can do it even better but it's too short time to tell anything else that its GPS filter doesn't work as we all wish

The bigest problem for me is not detection distance but false alerts. You are lucky to have only Ka band in operation As you know in Poland are three bands in use - X, K, Ka. False alerts on K and X simply drive me crazy in cities. It's so annoying that extremally sesitive RDs with poor false alert rejection like V1 are useles! (Imagine almost constant false alert on K while driving by main city roads)

Yes - RDs are illegal in Poland - it means you can have it, but can't use it. We need to hide our toys and it's a reason why I don't use windshield mount. Simply put it under windshield on board.

I see.. well i would say you were lucky with Ramers and AD9s so far. I wouldn’t trust Bel US versions here especially as most of our radars are 34.00GHz. I don’t think anyone has tested the 9500i here but I’d expect it to perform more less the same as X50 or Bel US. Basically anything without Ka narrow is really not reliable here.

Yes Ka only is a great thing I’ve tried enabling the K-band on the way to work (~9km in Bratislava) last year and got some ~8 K-band falses :? I haven’t tested X band yet but I can imagine it’d be pretty much the same if not worse. BTW maybe you could try again the V1. Based on the recent info the latest V1 fw (3.861) filtering has considerably improved and doesn’t false far as much as the previous versions used to but the sensitivity is also somewhat lower.. again this is just Ka band (with the old fw even Ka used to false a lot in Prague as I have learned from our Czech friends) but with the new fw it's possible that K-band falsing has improved as well.

They plan to get some laser guns this year in SK but Laser Interceptor will be the solution that I plan to use

Thx for confirming and explaining the RD ban in PL.
    Keep us updated

    Here is info for Latvia:

Ka band only (Stalker ATR and Dual), mostly used from moving patrol cars in conjunction with video recorders. Majority are in constant transmission mode but instant-on situations happen too.

Radar detectors are illegal to use but RDDs are not in use, and generally speaking the rule is not enforced unless RD is in plain view

Let me help you. 1) Should look like this:

    -----------------------------------------------------
    1) Hungary (many tnx to T-T)

Radars: Ka Narrow band (34.3GHz), K band (24.125GHz), Ku band (13.450GHz).
    Lidars: ProLaserII, ProLaserIII.

    FIX SPEED TRAP:

    http://www.w-lantech.hu/speedcam/

RD and laser jammers are legal.
    -----------------------------------------------------

    Then you should erase 12)

So, 12) Germany, 13) Norway, ...etc
