Bronx, NY going to throgs neck bridge KA band?

i forget exactly the number of the highway that leads to the bridge but i always get instant-on type of blasts of K band from a drone right along where the randall ave. exit is

BUT

i've recently noticed about 1/4 mile ahead when driving toward the newly re-built tremont ave. (road) bridge up (up above) that i get a blast of KA band now as well. this totally freaks me out every time as sometimes NYPD-HP sometimes hangs out in that general area. I pass through there 3-4 times a day so i know its not a leo.....any idea what this is? a new drone?

my main concern is that it isn't a speed camera or hopefully they arent testing one.

any have any info. or any shared experiences?

Sounds like they are testing some sort of device that transmits on the ka band. I have a local bank here that sets off ka band on nearly all of my rd's. I guess all you can do is slow down while going thru there and take a good look around to see if you can find it. Do the arrows of the V1 seem to be helping you find the source?

yeah the arrows dont go crazy so im guessing when i have time i can go check it out and see what it is. i was just worried though that nyc was starting to get speed trap cameras b/c i would be getting some nice new mail from them =)
