    Default IL - I-57 Tuscola/Pesotum area

    Saw a maroon Camaro unmarked and two marked cruisers with someone pulled over today. If you're in the area, beware of maroon Camaros.

    Several days this week I saw the maroon Camaro. And Friday was intense enforcement day. I saw five LEOs with cars pulled over (including the Camaro) and five more rolling and hunting. All within 15 or 20 miles of highway. Good day to stick to the backroads.

    Are they running radar or laser? If radar, what band?

    I haven't seen the Camaro using anything. I suspect he just comes up behind folks and paces them. The LEOs on I-57 use laser and Ka Band.

    Good to know, I get off of I57 at Tuscola when heading to Decatur. Hadn't seen any enforcement before, nice to know what might be lurking.
