She received the ticket in Pendleton, Sc, which is in Anderson County....

Let me see if I can work something out for you. I may know the judge there. If I do I am sure I can get it so it never shows in GA.

Are you sure it was Pendleton? I just spoke with the prosecutor's parlegal and she did not think there was a 65 zone in Pendleton. Can you email me a copy of the ticket, she said she may be able to help if it's in their jurisdiction.

Was it a local or a trooper that gave her the ticket?

The ticket is for 74 in a 65. Issuing officer badge 233 TRP3, M.S. Abramson. Funny thing, its says she was suppose to be in court 12/4/08, if she desired. Violation section # 56-5-1520. Again, it says Pendleton and Anderson County. The court is listed at 107 South Main St. Anderson S.C. Serial number on bottom of ticket is D 554848. Thanks partner.

did she already pay this ticket? Today is the 4th! That officer is a local state trooper. The court is Anderson, not the court in Pendelton. I hope she either paid it or got a continuance.

Sry I could not figure out what was going on and by the time I got it to my friend it was about 10 this AM. I should have asked where in SC earlier and I would have been able to get this taken care of for you. The good thing is from what I was told today this will not get passed along to GA.

Thanks Category, really appreciate the effort. Seems like there are a bunch of really neat people on here. I go on vacation in December, but when I return in January, I will start looking at my jammer set up, seems to be a ton of Lidar around the Atlanta Metro area and state of Ga. period. I think I might stick a V1 in wifeys car, she needs some protection!!!

Well, the misses copped a plea and only had to pay the fine with no points going to her license. Apparently the deal is something you can only get once every 5 years. Forgot the exact terminology.

They probably reduced it to a "basic rules violation" or something like that. It was something added to the books 4-5 years ago. It gives solicitors a tool to take your money without putting any points on your license. To my insurance company, it has about the same weight as an equipment violation.

Now you can plea nolo as well, which is what she may have been referring to. It carries no points as well, but it doesn't keep your insurance company from seeing it regardless.

Speaking of the Alpharetta GA cops, last night I watched an episode of Speeders which featured an Alpharetta cop pulling over a woman in a new car who was doing 86 in a 65 on GA400. I wonder if it was the same cop as the one Rudeboy is talking about?

I got paced in Dallas by a sheriff deputy the first week i had my very first RD and the officers name was Officer Speed.
