Yea I have to agree, I think it's pretty stupid that the cops can do all sorts of stupid things like use minor 'decoys' to see if someone is selling cigarettes/alcohol to minors. Usin NON-minors pretending to be minors on the internet and prosecuting THOUGHT crimes since no minor was actually ever in danger, and the initiation of their contact would have never happened had it not been for them initating the contact. Using decoy prostitutes to SOLICIT prostitution and then busting potential johns. Etc.. Etc.. Not saying that people who sell age restricted products to minors, people who seek minors on the net to exploit them or johns should not be prosecuted for crimes they COMMIT. But to actively try to MAKE someone comit or INTEND to comit a crime I do not agree with. Especially when the use of decoys in it's self requires the decoy to perform an illegal act to catch someone else doing an illegal act, and the only reason the illegal act is legal is because it's a sting and stings are exempt by law.
