We've had a black C5 w/ blue HIDS and blacked out rear lights running around here for awhile, but I just got back from talking to an officer about the new "speed" campaign, and the 'vette is going to be running traffic. Supposedly there's several Ford SUV's running traffic, too, all over the village. Seen one w/ a LIDAR gun near Dempster & Sk Blv the other day.

Anyone driving north of Chicago should stick to the Edens. Morton Grove is cracking down, and I've heard that Wilmette is running seatbelt checks, too. Sounds like everyone's looking for more cash...
