    Default Dayton OH, area does NOT have radar drones, they are these...

    It appears that my verbiage these past few months of "drones" has been incorrect. Whats giving me the instant on signals constantly isnt drones at all. What was installed is a traffic monitoring system. Which every few seconds will "sense" traffic. Talk about a headache for RD users :-(

    On the site: S P E E D I N F O :: delivering data that knows your flow

    you will see what the traffic sensors look like, and sure enough you will see them all over the Dayton area. I like how on their site, it says "install 15 in one day!" Well, they aren't kidding, I remember when these first went up I was thinking to myself, why am I getting these alerts all of a sudden?

    yea those annoy me in the Dayton area.

    what I want to know is are they permanent or just temporary? I glanced at that website a few months ago but never read through it (I have a short attention span)

    Sethy, you should let everyone know how you programmed your V1 make it usable in that area.

    Update: I found the link to Sethy's post on how to program your V1 to handle these, http://www.radardetector.net/forums/...ay-drones.html

    Just take that traffic system and take a gun to it. That ought to solve everyone's problems. Just make sure you do it between 1-4 am. Do not misconstrue my advice in any way,shape, or form!

    It has been my understanding that these traffic sensors are synonymous with drones. All drones are these, are they not? Or is there a different kind of drone that serves another purpose?

    I was VERY curious what was causing the alerts. I knew it had to be something traffic related.

    I just kept driving as usual, I can tell anytime it was one of those traffic radar things.

    Edit: Also, I never use anything other than A mode ever since I've owned my V1.
