Freebird suggested this in another thread, and I though it a good suggestion.
If you know FOR A FACT that Q/T is used in a certain area, please post it here in this thread. Do not post anything about Q/T NOT being used in an area--I only care about where it isused.
Second hand reports or stories about someone you know blah, blah, blah are not acceptable proofs in this thread--start a different thread.
Your personal opinions as to anything about Q/T, what it is or isn't, or whether its a "valid" method of acquiring speed are not to be posted here. Do not discuss whether brand "A" or "B" can or can't detect Q/T. I/O doesn't count; I'm only interested in the very, very short trigger pulls that some RD's may not report at all.
Acceptable Proofs Are:
1. You got a speeding ticket where radar was used, but your RD never went off.
2. You have personally seen situations such as what MMeteor posted here http://www.radardetector.net/forums/...-good-all.html
3. You run a combination such as a V1 and a remote RD, and the V1 alerts very briefly but the remote doesn't. Running a V1 in the cab with another RD is not acceptable evidence.
4. LEO's have personally told you that they deliberately use very, very quick bursts of radar for the purpose of defeating RD's.

I have also seen many of these LEO's use this method in all parts of Oklahoma, and it is mainly the state troopers. I also have citation "warning" proof about 2 weeks ago where this LEO was on I-35 behind a bridge, and I was doing about 82 in a 70 and he hit me with Q/T or fast I/O, V1 went full signal and off immediately and he came after me. I stashed the V1 and this LEO was generous and wrote me a warning. I have proof. This is just 2 confirmed hit's out of many other I have personally witnessed in OKlahoma.
