Nashville, TN has a very comprehensive network of cameras monitering the various interstate highways that run through it: I-24, I-40, I-65 and I-440. The cameras are remote controlled, in that they can look in different directions as needed.

The menu on the left of the page allows you to see where incidents/accidents are, road construction, actual camera location and average traffic speed.
You can click on a camera icon an see in real time how traffic is moving at that location. The title at the bottom of the images tell what mile marker the camera is at and what compass direction it is facing.
These cameras do not set off Escort Redlines or 9500ix nor Valentine 1's, but I think this is what used to set of an old POS Radio Shack RD I used to have -- it would scream "VG2 Detected" at just about every single bridge or overpass in Nashville.

So, if you need to go through Nashville, and want to make the best possible time, here's a little help for the "professional driver"
