Local PA cop shooting Falcon this morning

I almost couldn't believe my eyes. Coming into work this morning my detectors were in the trunk since I do not use them because my ride doesn't allow for speeding and I travel local roads with no state police presence and I did not have my phone set up for video because I didn't expect to see anything.

Coming into Wilkes-Barre there was a marked WB impala sitting perpendicular to the road with a gray falcon handheld unit out of his window. Not sure if he was going to use this to stop people or just seeing how radar worked and monitoring traffic since it was kind of heavy. I do not know what band because the detectors were in the trunk. I should have taken a second pass but I was on my way to work. I told stano about it so hopefully he can make a pass with them still there.

Wow! I'll be on the lookout too. I was there yesterday but all I got was K band falsing. Or was it? I did not see any W/B enforcers though.

Yeah I figured he'd be gone. I should have just made a second pass and been a few minutes late to work. I had my camera and detectors on this morning but nothing.

"We do have a radar gun. we are not allowed to use it for enforecment purposes, meaning we can't issue tickets when using. It is only for informational purposes. We can stop you and but not give you a ticket. I was using it the one day because neighbors complain abotu cars speeding. So I just sat there with the gun and noted the speeds."
