PA trip on Rt. 79

I took a trip this weekend on 79 from Pittsburgh to Erie and 3 times a PSP sitting in the median with them holding a gun sticking out the window did not trigger my V1. Could they be using a new radar or am I just plain lucky in that they did not trigger me as I was going by at 80? I also noticed that my V1 did not pick up a few construction signs that were posting speed limits. The V1 did pick up a few other traffic signs so I know the unit works.

Being that they did not come out after me I can only surmise that they were not triggering me when I went by, but I find that to be odd because they clearly had me all three times.

Um....it didn't pick it up at all? That would certainly give me reason to worry.

There is a speed sign just out of the tunnel on the NE extension that neither of my detectors pick up. I checked with another member on here and his does not either so its an issue with the sign itself. Possible that the sign is bad too. Would it be possible that you don't have K turned on by accident somehow?

I did pick up a few traffic signs so I'm not seeing anything consistent on the signs. I can check the settings and see if anything jumps out but I have not made any changes for a few years.

Or Ka... There are a bunch of Ka speed signs floating around.

I have the factory settings, so K,Ka,X, and laser are all on.

Hmm interesting. Maybe you could see if another member in the area can make a pass to see if they pick it up. The two possibilities are that the sign is messed up or your detector is.
