    Default Driving to Mardi Gras...

    From Central Fl.

Will have the V1 mounted *high*. Currently I have X band off but I will turn it on once I exit Fl.

Anything in particular I should watch for? My route takes me basically I-75N to I-10W, and I figure I-10W will have some additional measures getting closer to NO because they expect extra traffic.

Any setups I should be wary of, or anything I can expect along the way? Experience of those in respective states I will be traveling thru would be appreciated.

I saw some FL FHP working I-10 near Tallahasse when I drove through last summer.

There were some radar speed signs in Mobile near the tunnels and bridges.

    Check out http://www.speedtrap.org/speedtraps/stetlist.asp

Their layout and searching capability sucks because they are morons and terrible programmers (long story, I've talked with them), but there is some good information there if you are patient enough to dig through and find it.

Empty both ways, the V1 never alerted to any real threats save two, one instant on Ka blast from oncoming trooper in the panhandle, he blasted me and then blipped his lightbar on for about 1 second. Scared the sh!t out of me but he just exited and I never saw him again.... he must have been busy or just cutting me a break.

Second was a short burst today from instant on K from a hiding officer being very selective. For ~1000 total miles, thats barely any enforcement!

Aside from that it was just parked DOT officers at weigh stations and Cobras. Definitely no laser.

Speed signs in mobile as mentioned, those bridges in that area are  as is the total destruction even still along the interstate in the NO area and east.

Aside from that it was a b-o-r-i-n-g drive.
