    Default I/O in PA?

I travel I-476 a few times a month and have only seen a few LEO's shooting strictly K-Band. I know only PA Staties can shoot radar but I was wondering if they can shoot I/O? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Yes, most definitely they use IO. Watch out for KA too.

I should also add the the PSP on the turnpike are really good at shooting IO. They must be trained better than the cops that shoot radar on the interstate. Those cops seem to shoot sloppy instant on or constant on.

Wow, this is a great reality check for me. I used to fly through Pennsylvania, whether it was 76, 276 or 476, easily 20+ psl the whole time but now I will definitely take it easier.

Yepppp, they love IO. Most I've seen run constant, though. Also, for those who don't know (I guess there are a few left), only State Police in PA can use radar and they must be STOPPED. They cannot run it while rolling. I'm sure they could "leave it on" but they can't actually get a reading and use it to cite you.

And let's not forget the low powered K-band in PA. Falcon HR is no bueno for speeders.
