I was wondering do ALL state troopers use Instant-on Ka and Laser and nothing else but thoes 2?

They use K band too. Also constant-on Ka.

Lidar is most noteable on the thruway.

In NY I have never seen anything else. I sometimes come upon them running constant Ka which is nice.

As for the rest of the states, just go to the Speed Trap Info forum and check out the sticky. Those bands are specific to state-level enforcement.

Me and my family went to Vermont thursday and I saw a bunch of cops using laser.

state troopers Usually hae the best of the best so Ka or laser but in NY i have run into a POP, Ka(instant and constant), K(instant and constant), Laser

NJ troopers still use X on some cars

FHP.....Ka and Laser nothing less. U might see a RARE K band trooper, but Ka and Laser are their bread and butter!!!!!

Cobras have excellent detection ability. Don't know about Whistlers. V1 is the best.
