Only K in PA?

Am I to understand from the sticky on radar freq. used by different states that PA ONLY uses K band (no laser, no Ka, no x) for radar/laser speed detection?

That's all I have vere come across around the state. I have heard of others running into some Ka around Philly. Gotta love those f****** K band drones eh??

They are aweful. I don't really understand how one is supposed to pick up a five-oh in all that background.

Ive heard from a few people elsewhere on this board that PA State Police just bought a few new Ka Radar Guns.

Also, I think a parked PSP Cop Car with it's lights flashing made my RX65 beep on KA, unless it was some kind of interference from a truck or something.

So I would keep Ka mode on on your detector and respond to all Ka threats if I were you.
