Default queensland australia speed camera advice sought

    hi,

queensland australia serf wonders, can anyone offer some jewels of information regarding :

    1. vh1/vh2 photojammer (what about non-flash cameras)?

    2. photostopper/photoblocker (what about photo inversion)?

    3. super/toll protector (what about licence plate obstruction laws & enforcement)?
believe me, its more than zealous, here in this reactionary nightmare called queensland.

    4. viability of any of the above Vs (imho) enthusiastic & numerous rich-folks-lackeys (traffic cops)?

hope i wasn't too mordant for my first post.

None of the spray on stuff works for number plates, they all get bypassed using photo inversion.

As for anything that covers your number plate, Transport Operation Act of QLD states that anything covering your plates must be clear, clean, untinted, and flat over the entire surface. must have no reflective or other characteristics that would prevent successful operation of a photographic detection device or prevent it from being legible.

characters on a number plate must be visible from 20m away at any point within an arc of 45 degrees from the surface of the plate above or to either side of the vehicle.

See section 24 of the Transport Operations Regulation 1999. Also has a couple of pics explaining the last paragraph if you didn't quite understand it

Also as a side note...I'm pretty sure buying/selling/use of speed detection devices is illegal in all states/territories except WA and QLD. Buying/selling is NOT illegal in QLD, but using/having it in a vehicle that is on a public road IS, whether or not the device is on/off/working/broken, on private property it's legal (in QLD).
WA is perfectly fine and legal, but they apparently use one of the hardest mobile speed camera units to detect. Something with a name starting with M (can't remember).

vh1/vh2 photojammers aren't being made anymore (although they did also detect the pulse from an IR strobe)

photostopper/photoblocker - doesn't work on any newish (decent) camera system

super/toll protector - stick out like dogs balls and you'll get pulled over and fined

For QLD get yourself either a Bel STi (for Gatso and HWP) or a Cheetah sentinel (Gatso only) along with a GPS device

Does anyone still sell the VF1 photojammers anywhere? Will they work against the cameras which take 2 quick flashes?
